The Government Polytechnic Tsunazho (GPTCP), Chetheba, under Phek district was established in the year 2018 with Central Financial Assistance under the scheme of Sub-Mission on Polytechnics under the Coordinated Action for Skill Development.
The institute is located near the village, Chesezu, covering a vast area of 30.40 acres which is about 1 km away from the heart of Chetheba Town with a panoramic view of Kohima, the state capital of Nagaland, which is about 56 kms away from the institute.
The GPTCP is a state run institute, offering a 3 years Diploma Programme on Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE) approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
