Visit Us To Know MoreI am honoured and privileged to serve as the first Principal of the institute, Government Polytechnic Tsunazho, Chetheba, Phek (GPTCP). As a newly established institute, we have lots of requirement and rooms to improve. And I can’t tell you how fast and in how many ways that we will grow in the years to come. I can’t even promise you that we will not stumble or make mistakes, but one thing for sure is that we will do better and this Polytechnic will “grow from strength to strength” with my qualified and dedicated faculty and staff, competent and supportive authorities of the department, stakeholders and the whole community-together we will make a difference with the motto-“To Serve With Skill” and thus the Polytechnic aims to create a pool of skill based manpower to support shop floor and field operations as a middle level link between technicians and engineers and to begin with GPTCP offers a 3 years Diploma in Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) from academic year 2018. The educational needs of today are very different from those of the past because of the growing competition and with the progress of science and technology. The students must be equipped with the skills required by the industries and to face the challenges of future. They can do it if we give them the platform with the right kind of education. Keeping all these in view GPTCP aims and strives to give a new generation of technical professionals to serve the community in the emerging scenario and participate in the process of nation building. And I am confident that the right academic atmosphere prevailing here at the Polytechnic will make learning a delightful experience for students.
GPTCP to provide contemporary skilled manpower and technocrats.
Government Polytechnic Tsunazho, Chetheba, Phek (GPTCP) aims to create a pool of skill-based manpower to support shop floor and field operations as a middle level link between technicians and engineers.
We commit ourselves to undertake more community-based education and training programmes for both formal and non-formal education to assist both rural and urban communities.
We look forward to get support from the Government, NGOs, other institutions of higher learning and all the stakeholders, making the polytechnic a centre of excellence.
All these initiatives will lead to employable, high-quality technical workforce, both for Government and private sector.
